Atari Centipede

Atari Centipede is a classic fixed shooter arcade game that challenges players to fend off an array of foes, including centipedes, spiders, scorpions, and fleas, using your trusty bugblaster! The objective is to survive as long as possible amid relentless onslaughts. Your bugblaster fires small darts to dismantle the segmented centipede, which typically consists of 10 to 12 body parts plus the head. When you shoot a segment, it transforms into a mushroom, adding obstacles to your path. Importantly, each segment continues independently as it descends toward you. To destroy the entire centipede, you must target and shoot its head specifically. Controlling your bugblaster is easy—use the keyboard or mouse to maneuver and fire at your enemies.
